Candle Care and Safety
To get the most out of your Hope and Beyond candles — and keep your space safe and serene!
✨ Before You Light
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn to prevent soot and uneven flames.
Place candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, and pets.
Keep the wax pool clean — free of matches, wick trimmings, and debris.
🔥 While It’s Burning
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Burn for 2–4 hours at a time to allow an even wax pool to form.
Keep candles at least 3 inches apart when burning more than one.
Avoid moving the candle while the wax is liquid.
🧊 When You’re Done
Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame — avoid splashing wax.
Let wax cool completely before relighting, touching, or moving.
Stop using the candle when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent heat damage to surfaces.
💛 Bonus Tips for Longevity
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve scent.
First burn = most important! Let the wax melt edge-to-edge to prevent tunneling.
Reuse your jars! Clean out remaining wax and re-purpose as storage or decor.
