Why I Started Hope and Beyond: A Candle, A Mission, and a Lot of Heart

Hi, I’m Monique—wife, mama of five, mental health advocate, and the founder of Hope and Beyond.

I created Hope and Beyond because life gets heavy. Between work, family, and just being human in a loud world, I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed. I’ve had moments where I was hanging on by a thread—and sometimes, the simple act of lighting a candle and taking a breath was everything I needed.

That’s what Hope and Beyond is about. It’s more than candles or bath products—it’s about creating moments of calm for people who give so much to everyone else. I wanted scents that speak to real life, like:

• My Mental Health is Mental Healthing– for reclaiming your peace

• Them Kids This Close – for those “I need a break” days

Every product is made with love, hand-poured in Atlanta GA, using natural ingredients that support your body and your mind. We now offer soaps, bath bombs, and bubble scoops too—all designed to help you rest, reset, and protect your peace.
